It is intended to provide emotional, spiritual, and practical support as we navigate the joys and challenges of foster parenting together. Whether you are new to fostering or have been a foster parent for many years, this group is for you!
Topics of Discussion
During our monthly gatherings, we will cover a wide range of topics that are relevant to foster parenting. Some of the topics we plan to explore include dealing with grief and loss, trauma-informed care, advocating for foster children, self-care for foster parents, navigating relationships with birth families, and understanding the legal aspects of foster care. Feel free to suggest other topics you would like us to address!
Childcare and Refreshments
We understand that finding childcare can sometimes be a challenge, especially for foster parents. To support your participation in the group, we will provide free childcare during our meetings in the church nursery, and gymnasium. Additionally, light refreshments will be available for you to enjoy as we gather together.
How Can You Get Involved?
If you are a foster parent or are interested in becoming one, we encourage you to join our Foster Parent Support Group. Christmas Eve Service

Christmas Candlelight Service
Join us for a magical evening of love, joy, and remembrance as we come together to celebrate the birth of our Savior at our annual Christmas Candlelight Service on December 24th at 5 p.m. We invite you to experience the true meaning of Christmas as we fill our sanctuary with the warm glow of candlelight.
During this gathering, we will reflect on the significance of this holy season and the miraculous gift of Jesus Christ. The flickering candles will symbolize the light of Christ that illuminates our lives and brings hope to the world. As we sing familiar carols and hear the timeless story of Jesus' birth, we will be reminded of the profound love God has for each one of us.
Our Christmas Candlelight Service has become a cherished tradition for many families in our community. It is a moment of tranquility amidst the busyness of the holiday season - a time to pause and remember the miraculous events that unfolded on that silent night in Bethlehem.
As we gather together, we invite you to bring your family, friends, and neighbors to join in this beautiful celebration. Feel the warmth of fellowship as we unite in worship, share in prayers, and light our candles one by one, creating a stunning sea of flickering lights that fill our sanctuary with a sense of peace and reverence.
Our Christmas Candlelight Service is a testament to the enduring power of faith, hope, and love. Together, we will create lasting memories as we honor the birth of our Savior and rejoice in the true meaning of Christmas.
We look forward to seeing you and sharing in the wonder and beauty of this special evening.

May God's blessings be upon you and your loved ones this Christmas season.
